Jesse Succeeds Jacko As Prince
This week, we welcome a new prince to the royal ranks. Brace yourselves, because it’s none other than the Reverend Jesse Jackson. At a crowning ceremony, held in a southern Ivory Coast village and attended by bare-chested women, the Baptist minister and one-time presidential candidate was crowned Prince Nana by Amon N’Douffou V, King of Krindjabo, who rules over a million or so Agni tribespeople. Reverend Jackson — I mean, Prince Nana — inherited the title from Michael Jackson, who was revered by the Agni people; Jackson was crowned their prince in 1992. Earlier this summer, the Agnis held an elaborate two-day funeral for the fallen King of Pop.
