“A Serious Man”: Trailer
The latest film from the brothers Ethan and Joel Coen, “A Serious Man,” is the seventh they’ve shot and released this decade. However, with this film, they have chosen to work without any of the Hollywood A-listers who have been populating their work ever since the two finally gained not only critical but commercial success with “Fargo” back in 1996. Instead, this film is being carried by theatre heavyweight Michael Stuhlbarg (pictured), who plays a Midwestern college professor whose life begins unraveling when his wife asks for a divorce and his university refuses to grant him tenure. Release date is October 2, after a showing at the Toronto Film Festival.
