Casting For Green Day Musical
The “Spiderman” musical may have songs by Bono and the Edge, but the rock ‘n’ roll musical I’m most looking forward to is “American Idiot,” based on a fabulous Green Day album. Playbill.com says today that the casting for “American Idiot,” which will premiere in September at Berkeley Rep, has not been announced. But I can tell you that at least one of the lead roles will be played by the very talented Matt Caplan, who recently was in “South Pacific” on Broadway.
