Tween Stars Ruining Classic Films
I’m sure you know that tween superstars — Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers (pictured), Zac Efron, Robert Pattinson — now rule American show biz. But what you probably didn’t know is how many of them are about to participate in the ruination of screen classics. To wit: Miley’s starring in a remake of the Whitney Houston classic “The Bodyguard” and Zac’s headlining a remake of “Saturday Night Fever.” I realize that there are only about five or six basic stories in the world, but couldn’t Hollywood come up with something new once in a while?
