Earlier this week, I told you that Johnny Depp wanted to play Carol Channing in the movies. Miss Channing has now bestowed her blessing. This isn’t the first time a man has wanted the part. “Men have been imitating me for as long as I can remember,” she said. “In fact, most of the impersonations I have seen have had a five-o’clock shadow.”
