Taco Bell Dog Dies; World Mourns
Bow your head, please: After suffering a stroke at the ripe old age of 15, Gidget, the famed chihuahua face of Taco Bell, died late Tuesday. Gidget’s owner reports that the pooch’s final moments were pleasant: “She had a good day and was running around as normal.” Gidget rose to stardom in 1997, with her first “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” ad. In 2003, she played the mother of Reese Witherspoon’s (gay) chihuahua in “Legally Blonde 2.” “She lived like a queen,” said her owner. “She had a great life.”
