Wolf, Bond Take Big B.O. Bite
Broadway play “A Steady Rain,” toplined by Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman, is already looking like a rainmaker. The show racked up a whopping $3 million in advance sales solely from the initial pre-sale offer for American Express cardholders — even before ducats go on sale to the general public July 25. And does it matter if the play gets poor reviews? About as much as it mattered that the latest “Transformers” movie got splattered with critical barf.
