Green Day: Ink Gone Wild
The New York Post reports that members of Green Day are serious about their body art. “My wife just tattooed my name inside of her lip,” bassist Mike Dirnt tells next month’s Inked magazine, noting he may reciprocate. “Fair is fair. Why not? I’ll one-up her. I’ll tattoo my eye [with her name],” he says. Meanwhile, drummer Tré Cool (pictured) plans to have British artist Banksy ink his chest with “rats that are like bouncers. They’re standing outside a rat hole with a red rope and a little red carpet coming out to guard the entrance to my heart.”
