MTV’s Bright Idea Lacks Luster
I dug up this fun fact, apparently MTV has come up with a brilliant new excuse for ‘reality’ television, a show called, “Fashion Strip”, which ‘selects’ teen girls and forces them to strip, fall through trap doors, and generally look trashy while ‘celebrity’ fashion judges, well, judge them. I’ve never heard of the judges before, but the description of the first taping sounds like tasteless garbage, and since the viewing age of most MTV viewers at this point is 13, I am not even disgusted, I am entirely numb to the senseless sex and gratuitous objectivity of this kind of show. What happened to the days when MTV just played music videos?
