Obies Shower Love On Sondheim

Stephen Sondheim’s recent musical “Road Show” didn’t get universal love from critics, but it did receive kudos from off-Broadway’s Obie awards, which were handed out Monday night. “Show” won awards for music and lyrics from the honors, which are sponsored by the Village Voice. Lynn Nottage’s “Ruined,” which is the big winner in all this season’s theatre-awards circuit (except the Tonys, for which it isn’t eligible), won the Obie for best new American play.
