What Frightens John Waters
“I can go into the scariest monster bar in Baltimore and sit down and have a good time. At the same time I can be in New York and go to a nice restaurant. It’s the middle—I can go to shopping malls and break down sobbing. That’s where I’m afraid I’m going to get beat up.” That’s director John Waters (pictured) in a new interview. He’s got two memoirs coming out, and a ton of other projects. But no “Fruitcake” movie. Sigh.
