Al Pacino Set To “Blink”
I thought that Malcolm Gladwell‘s wowingly successful pop-finance-psychology books (“The Tipping Point,” “Blink,” “Outliers”) would be left alone by Hollywood. They are brimming with anecdotes, but lack a through-line narrative. I’m wrong. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Al Pacino will star in an adaptation of “Blink,” playing a successful Wall Street financier who reconnects with his idealistic twentysomething son when he sees new opportunities for making money. The role of the son is still uncast, but Stephen Gaghan (“Syriana”) is slated to direct.
