Joss Stone Returns To “Tudors”
Singer Joss Stone (pictured) will return for the the next — and final — season of Showtime’s “The Tudors” in her role as Henry VIII’s fourth wife, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She’s appearing in the current, third season of the drama as Anne of Cleves opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ marriage-happy monarch. I wish I could say that my affection for Stone has caused me to watch the series. But, unlike many of my friends who are convinced Tudorites, I find that every time I watch an episode the historical inaccuracies drive me crazy. It’s one thing to sex up Henry and his court; quite another thing to turn it into utter fiction and have folks thinking it’s fact.
