Lincoln Center’s Face Lift
As Lincoln Center, the largest performing arts complex in the country, prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the future is as bright as its rich past. The complex has been in the redevelopment phase for a year or two now, and will not be finished with this phase until 2011, but already fresh looks at the renovated Alice Tully Hall and the 65th street side of the complex give us a glimpse of the project’s final look, a 21st century sensitivity with a public versatility in mind.
