Michael J. Fox Stays Positive

116301_142Michael J. Fox (pictured), who was diagnosed in 1991 with Parkinson’s Disease, knows something about the trials in staying optimistic against the odds. The degenerative disease, which gradually destroys the connection between brain cell and nerve activity, is usually not faced with much positivity. But Fox’s new special, called “Adventures of an Incurable Optimist,” (notice the bittersweet double entendre) is about just that, staying positive without the promise of a cure. The buzz about the special itself is not great, but no one denies that its a noble cause from a worthy and remarkable example.
