Friedman Gets Flack For ‘Piracy’
Fox News’ Roger Friedman has suffered the repercussions for advocating digital ‘piracy’. His column has been suspended after a review of the upcoming ‘Wolverine’ movie based upon the leaked version Friedman saw online. That he saw it is neither surprising nor condemnable; if it’s out there, why not see it? But that Friedman supported the idea of pirating movies, saying ‘It’s so much easier than going out in the rain!‘, cannot be overlooked. Fox News has released an official statement on the matter, stating that Mr. Friedman has been terminated. I am all for the decision.
