“ER” Finale Grabs Strong Ratings
“ER” went out on top on Thursday, drawing an average of 16.2 million viewers for its two-hour finale. The 9-11 p.m. closer brought NBC an average of 6.0 rating and 16 share in the adults 18-49 demos. “ER’s” signoff marked the biggest rating for a drama series finale since “The X-Files” wrapped its run and the largest overall audience for a drama series finale since “Murder She Wrote”.
