“Phantom” Sequel: London First
“Love Never Dies,” the long-gestating sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera,” will open at the West End’s Adelphi Theatre in late October or early November.
Tickets are expected to go on sale in late May or early June. The previously-announced plan, which the composer revealed to The Times of London in December, to simultaneously rehearse three companies with a view to opening productions in Toronto (ahead of a New York transfer) and Shanghai in quick succession is also being implemented.
