“Loop”‘s Obama-esque Overtones
Next month sees the release of “In the Loop,” Armando Iannucci‘s big screen spin off of his BBC series, “The Thick of It.” Much lauded when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year, it’s an acid satire spotlighting the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Here’s a link to the trailer. The poster’s homage to Shepard Fairey’s Obama poster — the one with Hope –is kinda cool, no?
