Singer M.I.A. wasn’t the only big name who was M.I.A. last night. Where the hell were last year’s actor winners — Daniel Day-Lewis (pictured) and Javier Bardem? I don’t care how eccentric he is; Day Lewis should have shown up to be part of the quintet that paid tribute to the Actor category. Same for Bardem in Supporting Actor; his no-show was especially odd given his relationship with winner Penelope Cruz.
