O’Hara Provides “Mad Men” Poetry
I’ve never really warmed up to “Mad Men,” but this article, pointing out the connection between the poetry of Frank O’Hara (pictured) and the mood of the TV series, almost makes me want to give the show another chance. The authoritative biography of O’Hara is by Brad Gooch, whose new book on Flannery O’Connor got a rave review today in the New York Times.
