India Celebrates “Slumdog” Win
The grumps have already started throwing bricks at last night’s Oscar telecast. This picture, for me, represents the opposite point of view: a village in India, sitting outside, watching the one available television set, and cheering “Slumdog”‘s win. American critics need to keep in mind that America is not the only country that watches the Oscars.
