NY Times “Discovers” Womyn
This morning, the Paper of Record packaged a Styles Section story thusly: “Lost tribes of lesbians from the early era of communes and feminism try to stay vital to a new generation.” I laughed so hard at the “lost tribes” bit I choked on my morning coffee. At least we’ve moved beyond mere crunchy-granola, cat-loving, tea-drinking stereotypes.
