Mickey Rourke Among The Rich
“Rating less than zero on the sophistication scale, ‘The Informers‘ is thus a totally faithful adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel — and an accurate look at early ’80s-era Los Angeles.” That’s from an advance review of an upcoming movie starring, among others, Mickey Rourke (pictured). It’s a good thing Rourke’s signed on to the “Iron Man” sequel, since “The Informers” looks a wee ill-timed. It’s hard to care about the vacuity of rich people in California when rather more pressing problems are all around us.
