Super Bowl: Best Ad Ever?
Who knew? It turns out that in between commercials of the Super Bowl, they play some kind of a football championship. At least that’s the way many viewers—and advertisers—see the NFL’s biggest night. And at $3 million for a 30-second spot this year—the highest amount ever paid—it’s little wonder the Bud Bowl has often had a more exciting finish than the actual game. While awaiting this year’s hits and misses, here’s one of my favorites from the past — Ridley Scott‘s first-disliked, then-embraced, post-“Blade Runner” commercial (pictured) for Apple.
