Prado: “Colossus” Not A Goya
The Prado Museum in Madrid is saying that Goya’s “Colossus” painting (pictured) was in fact painted by one of the artist’s assistants. I can’t get too worked up. There have been doubts cast about the work’s authorship for years. This is only the latest chapter in the controversy.
