Prado Paintings On Google Earth
The Prado — home to all those masterpieces by Velazquez and Goya — is the world’s first major museum to get the Google Earth treatment. The Guardian comments: ‘The Madrid museum and the internet search giant today unveil the first use of Google’s mapping program to allow art lovers to get so close to their favourite paintings that even the brush strokes are visible.’
