Variety Review: “Notorious”
Those for whom “Notorious” will always be a 1946 Hitchcock flick with Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains should probably stop reading right now. For everyone else: “Notorious” (to be released this Friday, January 16) ‘is a rock-solid biopic with a foolproof rise-and-fall storyline and a warmly nuanced performance by Jamal Woolard (pictured) as iconic rapper Christopher Wallace — aka Biggie Smalls, aka the Notorious B.I.G.’ The rest of the review can be perused here.
