Jennifer Hudson Back Onstage
The New York Times reports some cheering news:
For the first time since the murders of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in October, the singer Jennifer Hudson is planning to return to the stage. Ms. Hudson is expected to perform at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, a charity event in February that precedes the Grammy Awards, according to a news release from Grammy organizers. In addition to Ms. Hudson, who is up for three Grammy Awards, the event will included performances by Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Josh Groban and Raul Malo. The gala is to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
