Time To Assess The “Damages”
My friends tell me that “Damages,” a series on the FX channel that is about to debut its second season, is compelling. The new poster for the show (pictured) is compelling, too, featuring Glenn Close (whose airbrushing gets more Stepford with each new photo) and Rose Byrne (pictured). I was all eager to set my DVR for the premiere, since I’m a big fan of all programs that revolve around lesbian dominatrices (Bet you didn’t know that dominatrices was the plural of dominatrix.) But then I logged on to the show’s website and discovered that, no, “Damages” is a legal drama. My interest level shriveled.
