Condi Makes Music For The Queen
When most women are presented to the Queen, they curtsy. Condoleeza Rice played the piano. According to the London Times, the U.S Secretary of State gave a recital for the monarch yesterday during her visit to Buckingham Palace. Condi played Brahms. I hope it was listenable. I feel compelled to point out that Her Majesty in every way over the past 55 years seems to have favored America’s Republican administrations over its Democratic ones. All the Queen’s official visits to America have come during Republican reigns. As for music, to my knowledge the monarch never asked Bill Clinton to play the saxophone at the Palace.
