“Reader”: No Sex Before Age 18
“The Reader,” starring Kate Winslet and David Kross (pictured), is a December release that’s just gotten a Variety review. Money quote: “Daldry’s film is sensitively realized and dramatically absorbing, but comes across as an essentially cerebral experience without gut impact.” Fun fact in this review: the movie’s production had to shut down and wait for Kross to turn 18, before the filming of the sex scenes between him and Winslet.
