“Button”: Gump-Size or Slump-Size?
The movie to which “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is most often being compared by early reviewers is “Forrest Gump”: both are long, whimsical, and filled with special effects. “Button,” starring an aged Brad Pitt (pictured), faces the brutal competition of other holiday releases and so probably won’t rack up “Gump”-size box office.
