A Great Big Bloody Hit
Brace yourself for a massive pop-culture phenomenon whose first wave (No. 1 CD) has already hit, and whose second wave (movie) is about to pound our shores. Of course, I’m talking about “Twilight,” the teen-vampire story which may succeed in bringing more 14-year-old girls to the multiplex next week than even “High School Musical 3” did. I think I’ll sit this one out: I’m still recovering from the swerve of my favorite vampire-maker, Anne Rice, into Catholicism.
