Kanye West’s Big Career Move
In preparation for his upcoming non-hip-hop CD, Kanye West is saying he no longer wants to rap; he wants to sing. Does this mean that pop music is veering from the primacy of words back to the primacy of, or at least a place for, melody? I hope I hope.
