He will have defeated the Republicans and closed out the George W. Bush era. He beat the Clintons, leaders of one of the most effective machines in American politics.” Brock also points out that an Obama victory will prove that the White House doesn’t have to be white. Brock continues: “For these reasons and more, we shouldn’t be surprised that the American presidential election has been one of the best television dramas of 2008, reaching its climax on Tuesday night.
