News: Foote Cycle At Hartford Stage
In an interview with me just published on the Lincoln Center Theater website, the director Michael Wilson, whose production of Horton Foote’s acclaimed play “Dividing the Estate” will soon bow on Broadway, mentioned something theatrically newsworthy: next year, Wilson will mount all nine of the plays in Foote’s “Orphan’s Home” cycle at Hartford Stage, where he, Wilson, is artistic director. The cycle will be presented as three three-hour evenings; there will also be an all-day marathon.
