Olbermann and Mathews Sidelined
The most depressing media news of the weekend is that MSNBC hosts Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have been demoted. The upcoming debates as well as election night will be anchored by David Gregory. NBC is apparently knuckling under to those chants at the Republican National Convention that accused NBC of media bias. Do you think Fox News would let Democrats’ criticism of, say, Sean Hannity, cause them to render him to the sidelines? I don’t think so.
