It looks like the Japanese animation genius Hayao Miyazaki, whose “Spirited Away” was one of the magical movies of the past five years and who clings to “old-fashioned” methods of animation, has another winner with “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (pictured),” which has just been shown at the Venice Film Festival.
