Judge Judy To Marry Feinstein!
Buried deep in today’s New York Times profile of that King of Standards Michael Feinstein is this bracing little tidbit: when Feinstein marries his long-time partner Terrence Flannery on October 17 in Los Angeles, the presider will be none other than Judge Judy! I don’t know about you, but this is much bigger news to me than any announcement that John McCain could ever make. I’d like to be a fly on the flocked wallpaper at this ceremony, and not just to see what Liza Minnelli will be wearing. Judge Judy will be assisted by Gabriel Ferrer, who is an Episcopal priest and the son of the late, great Rosemary Clooney.
