Here’s a beautifully odd statistic: almost all the rock stars who die young (and cement their legends) are age 27 when they do so. That’s right: Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain — all were that age when they shuffled off this mortal coil.
