Ang Lee’s Latest About To Film
“Taking Woodstock,” the latest movie directed by Ang (“Brokeback Mountain”) Lee, will begin filming later this month in upstate New York. The film is about a man who helped put together the historic Woodstock music festival in 1969. It stars Emile Hirsch, Imelda Staunton, and Liev Schreiber. Also featured is Jonathan Groff, who’s having a Big Hippie Moment; he will be leaving the current Central Park production of the rock musical “Hair” in order to shoot his “Woodstock” scenes.
