“Sweeney”: Too Much of a Scream
The police arrived at a Liverpool, England production of “Sweeney Todd” on Wednesday after an actress’s screams were mistaken by locals for those of a person actually being stabbed to death. Police are advising homicidal maniacs not to dance or sing Sondheim while they’re killing people so as to avoid confusion in the future. Here’s more from the Liverpool Echo.
