Does New Movie Tart Up Abu Ghraib?
I certainly agree with the critics who’ve said that Errol Morris’s movie “Standard Operating Procedure,” which talks to the grunts who got stuck with the blame for Abu Ghraib, engages in some questionable re-enactments and relies too heavily on arthouse visual effects. That said, it’s the most provocative new movie I’ve seen in a while, and should cause quite a few discussions upon its release this Friday.
