Thandie & Condi & Ioan & Tony
For Oliver Stone to cast Thandie Newton (pictured, upper left) as Condi Rice in his upcoming movie about the Bushes was truly inspired; she may have just played Eddie Murphy’s girlfriend in the stunningly unfunny “Norbit” movie, but Newton is one sharp cookie, and not just because she went to Cambridge University. Stone’s casting of Ioan Gruffudd (pictured, lower left) as Tony Blair is also fine, though I suspect that Michael Sheen, who played the Prime Minister in “The Queen,” is not amused.
