And She Can Cook, Too — Really!
Scarlett Johansson has been in New York this week directing a short film starring Kevin Bacon. Predictably, there’s been a lot of sniping in the blogosphere about her putting on another professional hat (or, as you can see from this photo, another professional beret). One online posting that gave me a giggle was from a (new to me) scribe named Tyler Durden. He snarks: “Actors are idiots. Just because you’re around something a lot doesn’t mean you know how to do it. I’ve been to Magic Mountain a hundred times, that doesn’t make me an engineer. My dad was a pilot for Delta. I talked to him about it all the time but I promise you, If I get behind the stick, we’re goin’ the fuck down.”
