This “Raisin” Is Supposedly Sweet
The hit 2004 Broadway revival of Lorraine Hansberry‘s 1959 classic play “A Raisin in the Sun” — starring Sean “P. Diddy” Combs (pictured)— has been made into a TV movie, to debut February 25 on ABC. I’ve been hearing mixed things about the small-screen adaptation, but this review finds much to like, saying that “strong performances and a brisk pace downplay the original script’s more dated, preachy aspects.”
