Putting the Pop in “Mary Poppins”
I generally run away from opera divas singing show tunes as fast as I run from a television set when Republicans start talking about Iraq. But I gotta say that, judging from this review in the New York (“We Love Hillary”) Times, I wish I had been in the audience this week when Deborah Voigt (pictured) essayed songs associated with Julie Andrews.
