“The Kite Runner” Movie Opens
A couple of months ago, I saw “The Kite Runner,” Marc Forster’s version of the beloved novel about an Afghan emigre returning to his homeland. (The movie opens today.) The film is deeply touching and that rare thing: an intimate epic. Here’s a review that was less keen on the picture than I was.
