Halloween: Amy, Larry & Dumbledore
Although New York’s Halloween parade has gotten progressively more suburban over the years, its costumes still manage to retain at least a modicum of edginess. And if the Halloween parties over the weekend in New York are any indication, we’re going to be seeing a whole lot of Larry Craigs, Dumbledores, and Amy Winehouses marching up Manhattan’s Sixth Avenue on Wednesday night. I’m hoping that we’ll see a minimum of Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani — there will be all too much of that scary twosome in next year’s primaries.
